INSURANCE OPTIONS
* OPTION ONE | NO INSURANCE EXCESS COVER
The security deposit is $3,000AUD on Credit Card.
* OPTION TWO | EXCESS REDUCTION COVER
The security deposit is reduced to $1000 upon payment of $10 per
day added to the daily rental tariff (maximum charge 50 days).
* OPTION THREE | PEACE OF MIND COVER
The security deposit is reduced to $250 ($500 for <25yrs) upon
payment of $20 per day added to the daily rental tariff (maximum
charge 50 days).
Please note: Whichever option you choose, Credit Card payments will
be processed immediately. The security deposit will be refunded
upon the satisfactory return of the vehicle (ie. No accident damage,
returned on time, refuelled, and in a clean and tidy condition.
Damage to tyres and the cost of puncture repairs is the responsibility
of the hirer).
* PLEASE NOTE: Salt water damage or damage resulting from submersion
in water is not covered by the above insurance options.
ROAD RESTRICTIONS
While all our vehicles can be driven on all legal formed roads,
it is important the hirer understand All Insurance Protection will
be negated should the hirer/driver take or drive our vehicles on
unsurfaced or 4WD roads.
DAILY HIRE CHARGES
All hire charges include Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST),
unlimited mileage, linen and cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery.
HIRE PERIOD
Minimum hire is 4 days. Your Kombi is available from 9am (negotiable)
on your first day of hire and should be returned no later than 6pm
on the last day. Late returns are charged at double rates plus costs.
Days of hire are the number of actual calendar days you have it.
PAYMENTS
AU $250 required to secure booking. The balance of the hire payment
is due 14 days prior to pick up.
DRIVER'S LICENSE
The driver and hirer must produce a valid driver's license. National
Aus, SA, USA , Can and Europe or international permit are requested.
Two drivers maximum
MINIMUM AGE
The driver and hirer must be over 20 years of age with two years
minimum driving experience.
DRIVING YOUR KOMBI
The speed limit on the open road is 100kph (60mph). In built up
areas the limit is 50kph (30mph)
ANIMALS
Sorry - due to health and safety reasons, no pets are allowed in
the vehicles.
SMOKING
Our vans are smoke-free zones. Please smoke outside the vehicle
only.
FUEL
The fuel tank will be full on pickup and has to be returned full.
Drop-off refuel charge is $60 to hirer.
DRIVING FINES
If you are fined or penalised for breaking any traffic laws, you
pay the fine.
WINDSCREEN DAMAGE
Is covered under the insurance policy.
ONE WAY HIRES
It is possible to commence your hire in Perth and finish it in Melbourne
or Sydney for a $500 extra charge if the rental period is a minimum
of twenty one (21) days. This charge is payable at time of booking.
PLEASE NOTE
GO kombi reserve the right to alter rates and terms without notice.
The company takes no responsibility for any detention, delay, loss,
damage or injury that a hirer might experience no matter how it
is caused or by whom.
SUPPLY
If for any reason beyond our control the reserved vehicle cannot
be supplied on pick-up a substitute will be offered. Should a substitute
not be available our liability is limited to a full refund of monies
received by GO kombi. All rights are reserved to refuse any hire
under any circumstance. No refunds are payable on accommodation,
or Kombis not being available where a hirer or passenger amends,
cancels, or seeks to vary agreement after departure.
BOND
This is held subject to the terms and conditions of the contract
eg when you return the vehicle your bond is returned in full if
it is acceptably clean and there is no damage to it, it's contents
or any third party property. The bond covers you for the first accident.
If you have another accident or the vehicle is damaged, then you
will be liable for a further bond. The rates and prices quoted are
in Australian dollars and are subject to change without notice.
CANCELLATIONS
There is an administration fee of $100 for bookings cancelled after
reservations have been confirmed. If reservations are cancelled
21-15 days prior to pickup there is a $200 cancellation fee. Once
full payment has been made (14 days prior to pickup) there is a
50% cancellation fee. There is a 100% cancellation fee on "no
show". Vans will be rehired after 3 days if you "no show".
No refunds are given after your hire has commenced.
PROBLEMS
If you have any difficulties report these immediately to GO kombi.
If you incur any minor repair bills we will give you a refund (up
to $100). Just produce your receipt at the completion of your hire.
Retrospective claims above this limit cannot be recognised. All
of our vehicles are covered by national RAC coverage, for your peace
of mind. In a breakdown situation, follow the instructions we provide
in the glove box of every van. If you have an accident, you pay
any accommodation expenses. GO kombi liability extends to either
replacing your vehicle with a similar one or refunding your hire
charge for any days you lose the total use of the vehicle.
